UM-OSU rivalry spicy at Chili Peppers show

,champions league shirts
It's not quite the same as heading to The Shoe decked out in Maize and Blue, but Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith made himself somewhat of a marked man last Monday night in Columbus. At the end of a Chili Peppers show at Value City Arena -- home of Ohio State's basketball teams, among others -- Smith interrupted adoring applause by stepping to the mic and reciting a line from "The Victors," Michigan's fight song. Needless to say, cheers quickly turned to boos as Smith exited the stage. Check out the video (Smith's singing begins at the :50 mark).Smith grew up mostly in Bloomfield Hills, Mich.,euro 2012 shirts, and attended Lahser High School. He's a big fan of Michigan teams, including the Wolverines and the NHL's Detroit Red Wings. If only John Legend were there to fire back for the Buckeyes. It's nice to see the Michigan-Ohio State rivalry is alive and well, euro shirts, even at a rock concert in June.
