The Sports Business Journal put together the spring game attendance numbers for every AQ conference (hey, we can only use that term for a couple more years), including the Big 12.Texas led the way in the Big 12 with 46,000, the fourth-most in the nation. Here is video from FOX-9 in Minneapolis to prove it. This evidence could mean two things: Childress has already returned from a reported meeting Wednesday night with retired quarterback Brett Favre. He didn't make the trip. ESPN has reported Favre and Childress would meet at an unidentified location sometime this week. The Star Tribune reported Wednesday that Childress took a commercial flight Wednesday afternoon. Whether that trip took place is now in doubt. We'll continue filtering through the various reports and give you the best idea we can of what's happening.
